MVMT LAB, 7/25/17

Thanks for all the requests for the Movement Lab sequences!

No promises - though I'm planning to post each week's Movement Lab sequence on the blog.

Like with natural resources: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle... please feel free to use this sequence in your practice and/or classes.

Movement Lab 7/25/17

Pilates Footwork
Fletcher Towel Work (to shoulder height)
Sumo Series
Fletcher Towel Work (overhead)
Sumo (with prior overhead Fletcher Towel Work)
Sun Salutations (focus on dog-pose arm rotation)
Side Angle
Sun Salutations (focus on dog-pose rotation/counter-rotation)

Side Angle (with belt overhead)
Sun Salutations
Knee Folds
Yoga Sit-Up
Pilates 100
Aerobic Sequence (repeat 3x)


  • Squats x10
  • Lateral hops x20

Arms overhead (hold for 10+ breaths) Drop arms and rest body and mind
Sun Salutation
Supine (on roller, placed longitudinally)
  • Arms up
  • Knee Folds
  • Contralateral arm/leg lifted
  • Bilateral Knee Folds
Rest (Savasana)
